This is a very weighty mirror which I purchased for my bathroom. It does have a magnifying side which is useful though is not mentioned in the description. I wanted a magnifying side and noticed someone else had made the comment so was happy to purchase it. Just what I wanted and it does look and feel like a quality product. Would recommend.
